2013 Madison Street Festival
The Madison Street Festival will be returning to Downtown Madison on October 5, 2013. The mission of the Madison Street Festival is to provide a day of family entertainment that unites the community as they enjoy arts and culture, interactive exhibits, and entertainment.
The Madison Street Festival began as one of the many Madison County Centennial Celebrations sponsored by the Huntsville/Madison County Museum of Art in 1976 . Chaired by Joyce (Mrs. Gary) Griffin, the fall day in beautiful downtown Madison was filled with fun, food, exhibits and home tours. The MSF has grown into Madison’s largest and most anticipated annual event.
Traditionally held on the first Saturday of October, the festival welcomes an array of artists, craftsmen, information booths, food vendors, street performers, stage performances, and amusements each year.
Through the generosity of sponsors, community partners, and an amazing team of volunteers, visitors are able to enjoy a full day of fun without spending a small fortune. Admission is free and provides festival goers access to all activities, entertainment, and exhibits.
Proceeds from the festival are invested back into the community annually through committee approved projects and our Annual Grant program, which awards funds to non- profits located in Madison or who serve Madison residents.
In 2012, two scholarships were added to the Annual Grant program. In partnership with the Madison City PTA Council, two scholarships, one to a Bob Jones and one to a James Clemens High School senior attending a Trade or Vocational school will be funded annually by the Madison Street Festival.

With the help of our generous sponsors the Madison Street Festival provides an area that gives kids areas that is just for them.
Vendors
The Madison Street Festival has hundreds of vendors. From arts and crafts to food and information, festival atendees will get too see what Madison has to offer.
Student Art Tent
The Madison Street Festival works with the Madison Arts Council to showcase the talent of students from the city schools and private schools in Madison.
