The historical setting of downtown Madison provides an ideal backdrop for the Madison Street Festival. This annual event welcomes more thatn 13,000 visitors and is a local tradition for kicking-off the fall season. Since 1980, our festival has welcomed an array of artist, craftsmen, demonstrators, information groups, and local entertainers. Thanks to a committee of hard-working volunteers and local businesses who help sponsor this event free of charge each year, profits are invested back into the community through grants to non-profit organizations, schools, and community groups

The air at the Madison Street Festival is always filled with delicious smells! From burgers straigt off the grill, to red beans and rice, to funnel cakes and freshly squeezed lemonade, there is something pleasing for every taste bud.
