Be A Part of the Festival

We welcome you to join the 30th Madison Street Festival. An annual event that hosts 200 vendor booths, Entertainment Stages, a Parade, a Car Show, Special Events, Children's Area, and a juried art section know as "Artist Alley".

Our vendor booths include art and craftsmen, food, non-profit organizations, local businesses, and club exhibits.  All items sold at the event, with the exception of non-profit promotional items, must be handmade. Businesses are welcome to join us and showcase their products or services, but they cannot directly sell on-site.

Entertainers generously donate their time and talents for our event. We do allow for our musical performers to sell their CD's during their designated performance times.

A parade kicks-off the event each year. Approximately one mile in length, winding through downtown, it is the perfect distance for our younger participants to join in too!  We also have a special section called the "Tail End" of the Parade, for our canines and their companions.  Awards are handed out during Opening Ceremonies to the top entries.

Through community participation and our sponsors, the Madison Street Festival is able to provide grants to organizations that are based in Madison, AL or provide services to residents of the city.  Available funding is determined by the proceeds generated from each festival. In 2009, the Madison Street Festival awarded close to $9000 in grants!

Food and Beverage Vendors

Coca-Cola is the exclusive soft drink, sports drink (Powerade), and bottled water (Dasani) sponsor of the Madison Street Festival.  Vendors must agree to only sell Coca-Cola product lines, outside of coffee, lemonade, tea, fruit flavored slushy or smoothie drinks.

Madison Street Festival Booth Package

To help make set-up and tear-down of vendor booths more convenient for our participants, we are offering a Madison Street Festival Booth Package this year.  This includes one (1) 10x10 tent, one (1) 8 ft table, and two (2) folding chairs.  Tents will  be erected and table and chairs in place before your arrival the morning of the festival. At 4pm, you can pack your personal items and not have to worry about dismantling or carrying heavy, bulky tents, tables, and chairs away. See Vendor Form to register for this option.

Vendor Passport Option

Vendors have the opportunity to generate additional foot traffic to their booth, by participating in the Madison Street Festival Passport Program. As visitors step off the shuttle to enter the festival, they are provided a Festival Program and a Passport Card.

The Passport Card looks similar to a Bingo Card and has 18 "vendor blocks". Visitors who take their Passport Card to each of the vendor booths listed and have each block stamped (participating vendors will receive a unique stamp), can then bring the Passport Card to the Madison Street Festival Information Tent and be entered into a drawing for fabulous prizes. Last year, we gave away $400 in savings bonds!

We do not allow duplicate vendors to be listed on the Passport Card (no food vendors please) and it is limited to the first 18 vendors who sign-up for the program. No exceptions.
